Rob represents both employers and employees in employment counseling and transactions. He specializes in employment agreements, executive compensation, stock options and other equity arrangements, protection of trade secrets, restrictions on competition, terminations, and general employment counseling. Rob received his J.D., magna cum laude, in 1993 from Hastings College of the Law where he was awarded the Order of the Coif. Rob received a B.A. in English from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1984. Prior to attending law school, Rob served as an Officer in the United States Navy, where he was an engineering officer aboard a submarine. In 1992, Rob was a Judicial Extern for Justice Armand Arabian of the California Supreme Court. Rob is an active member of the legal and local community. He has chaired both the Labor & Employment Executive Committee and the Education Committee of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, and has served on the Santa Clara County Bar Association's Board of Trustees Executive Committee and Finance Committee. He has also served on the Coyote Point Museum's Board of Trustees and the Town of Woodside's Recreation Committee. Martindale-Hubbell Rating: AV.
